Healthy and Easy Breakfast (MY FAVS)

Here are 2 easy recipes that contain all very similar ingredients so you can switch up your daily breakfast! Breakfast is a personal favorite of mine but I usually don’t have time to make anything super elaborate. But you know I want to still keep it tastyyyy of course.

Option 1: Rice Cakes

This recipe is so unbelievably simple that I make it basically every single morning after a workout.

All you need:

  • 2 plain rice cakes

  • 2 T of PB2 (or regular peanut butter. PB2 just has better macros for calories)

  • ½ a banana

  • Honey

  • Cinnamon

To make: Grab your rice cakes, slather on your PB2 (after combining with water of course) or peanut butter, cut up your half banana and place it on (I like to cut it into 12 slices so each cake gets 6 little banana wheels), drizzle your honey, sprinkle your cinnamon (or absolutely dump truckloads of cinnamon if you’re like me because that stuff is too good).

THAT EASY! So delicious and so quick. Give it a try!

Option 2: Oatmeal

Everyone always dogs on oatmeal because it’s basically mush (which it sorta is I guess), but if you make it right, it could honestly be one of your favorite breakfast meals ever.

Ingredients:

  • ½ cup oats (doesn’t matter what kind - some just take longer to cook than others)

  • 1 cup milk

  • PB2 or peanut butter

  • ½ a banana

  • Honey

  • Cinnamon

  • Optional: granola

To make: Put your oats and milk in a pot. Place on the stove top and cook on medium heat. Continue stirring til the oatmeal becomes thick. (Could take anywhere from 2-12 minutes depending on the type of oats you have) Pour into a bowl once done, and you can either put PB2 or peanut butter right in and mix it around. (You won’t need water for PB2 because the oatmeal is already milky) Cut up your banana and place on top along with your honey, cinnamon, and granola. (The granola just adds a crunch that is unstoppable)

(I couldn't resist digging in before I took a picture with it LOL)

This recipe is similar to my rice cakes but is just a whole different texture and breakfast experience. Both are amazing and include a lot of the same ingredients. So why not buy them and try both? My personal breakfast go-to’s! Pair it with a coffee and start your morning off on the right food… I mean foot… or wait. Do I? :) Hope you enjoy!
