GUYS! My mom started making these about a year ago now and when I tell you I may like them better than regular cookies - I mean it. I’m also such a peanut butter fan so anything with peanut butter I’m immediately a “sign me up” kinda girl. Anyways, I’m going to share the recipe she uses because all of y’all need a taste of heaven!

Ingredients:
½ cup softened butter
½ cup creamy peanut butter
½ cup white sugar
½ cup brown sugar
2 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 cups all-purpose flour
2 cups rolled oats
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
3 medium ripe bananas
1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
*If you want a gluten free or egg free option, feel free to substitute with gluten free flour or any sort of egg powder substitute :)
Directions:
Preheat the oven to 375°. Stir and combine the butter, peanut butter, and sugars until the mixture is light and fluffy. Slowly add in the eggs and vanilla.
Time for the dry ingredients! Combine the flour, oats, baking soda and salt in a separate bowl. Once finished, add the dry ingredients to the wet.
Finally, mash your bananas and then add them into the mixture along with the chocolate chips.
Spray or line a baking sheet and then scoop out medium sized balls onto the tray.
Cook for 12 minutes or until the edges of the cookies are browned.
Let cool and enjoy!
I promise - you’ll thank me on this one! Such a simple recipe but yet so delicious you’ll eat all of them in one sitting. :) What’s your favorite cookie?
best "healthy" cookie out there!! ;)
